The department of cardiology Tx Hospital, Kachiguda is proud to announce that we performed our first case of TAVR – TRANS CATHETER AORTIC VALVE IMPLANTATION on 2nd December 2022. The patient is a 66-year-old lady who presented with heart failure. On evaluation, she was found to have severe aortic stenosis with aortic regurgitation. By non-surgical technique, a 26 mm “MYVAL” valve was implanted. The patient recovered smoothly.
